Activity history |
There was no official body to represent the interests of all the students, but students in the mechanics' classes were allowed a say in the running of their classes. The management of these classes was vested in a committee, known as the popular evening class committee, elected from the members of the class. It reported any concerns of the students directly to the managers. |
