Activity history

Student complaint handling was primarily the responsibility of the managers and trustees. Students were required to lay all complaints before the managers in the first instance. The secretary provided any necessary administrative support. However, complaints arising from the students of the mechanics' classes were initially handled by the popular evening class committee and subsequently referred to the managers. The professors were also on occasion involved in handling complaints.
