Activity history

Student record cards began to be compiled in the 1920s by the Secretary and Treasurer. The object of these cards was to provide a full and accurate record of the school career of each student, giving details of the courses taken and the marks and awards gained by each student. The responsibility for the compilation of these cards passed to the newly created post of Registrar in 1943. In around 1992, the Registry created a database of student records to replace the manual system. Using the data in these records, the Registry compiled student statistics for internal use and for returns to statutory bodies.
