History

In 1896 the Glasgow Technical College (Weaving Branch) became a limited liability company known as the Incorporated Weaving, Dyeing and Printing College of Glasgow. In 1908 this new college was absorbed into the Glasgow and West of Scotland Technical College (later the Royal College of Science and Technology).
