Activity history |
The college was initially governed by trustees who were elected by and from the subscribers. They were responsible for the whole direction and management of the college and had the power to make bye-laws and regulations and appoint sub committees. Each year, they presented a report on proceedings to the subscribers at the annual meeting. The secretary organised the trustees' meetings and provided general administrative support. In 1896, when the college became a limited liability company the trustees became known as governors. |
