Activity history |
The visiting committee, replaced in 1896 by the teaching committee, drew up, with the support of the secretary, timetables of classes and lectures and set the price of the lecture tickets. The secretary arranged for the publication of timetables for the ensuing session in the syllabuses and annual reports. He also arranged the production of the lecture tickets. The instructors kept registers of the students and reported attendance figures to the visiting committee and subsequently the teaching committee. Examinations were organised by the visiting committee and, from 1896, the teaching committee with the support of the secretary. The committee set and marked the papers, although, from 1901, it also employed outside examiners. The secretary arranged for the questions to be printed. Examination results were reported to the trustees and published in the annual reports. |
