Activity history

The Principal was responsible for compiling a draft class timetable for the ensuing session. On at least one occasion, in 1906, however, the Senate remitted this responsibility to one of the professors. The draft timetable was submitted to the Senate for approval. In 1929, following the union of the United Free Church of Scotland and the Church of Scotland and the consequent rationalisation of the training and teaching of ministers, it was agreed that the timetable for the coming session should be kept equivalent to that of the Faculty of Divinity of Glasgow University. The Principal therefore prepared the timetable for 1929 in conjunction with a professor at the University. Following the union of the College and the University's Faculty of Divinity in 1935, classes were amalgamated. Some were held at the College and some at the University. Timetabling continued to be carried out in conjunction with the Faculty of Divinity.

Other records documenting students' attendance and course work were presumably kept by the Principal, whose duties included teaching, and the professors. None of these records survive, however.
