Activity history |
Student complaints were dealt with in the first instance by the professors and Principal, subject to the approval of the College Senate. Complaints that could not be resolved were referred to the College Committee of the General Assembly (renamed in 1930 the Committee on Education for the Ministry) which, in turn, could refer cases to the General Assembly itself. The Committee could also receive complaints in writing directly from students. Following an agreement between the College and Glasgow University's Faculty of Divinity in 1935 whereby the teaching of the two was combined, the University was henceforth also involved in handling student complaints.
