Introduction |
The ten partners in this project are representative of Scottish Higher Education from medieval Universities to modern post polytechnic Universities and together their HEI collections run to over 10 linear kilometres and encompass well over a million items. Scottish HEIs have developed from a number of predecessor and affiliated bodies (bodies may have been affiliated with more than one project partner over time) and records of these institutions are included as an integral part of the project.
The following paragraphs list the partner institutions and their antecedents and affiliates and identify specific research themes. Please note that work is in progress and descriptions have not yet been compiled for all these institutions.
